Destiny AI Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Destiny AI is published by Midnight Holdings LLC, a United States limited liability company operating as Midnight Apps. In this policy, "we", "us", and "our" mean Midnight Holdings LLC, and "Destiny AI" or "the app" means the Destiny AI mobile application.

2. What this policy covers

This policy describes the information Destiny AI handles when you use the app. It does not cover the midnightapps.dev website, which has its own website privacy policy, or third-party services and websites that you choose to visit from the app, which have their own policies.

3. Information that stays on your device

Destiny AI calculates your astrology, numerology, Chinese astrology and astrocartography readings on your device, using the app's own software and content. The following information is stored only in the app's private storage on your device and is not sent to us or to any service provider:

• your birth profile — the name you enter for readings, birth date, birth time, birthplace and its coordinates, and optional gender, pronouns and relationship details;
• your current location, if you choose to share it (see Location);
• palm photos, if you choose to add them — they are kept in the app's private folder, are not analysed, and are never uploaded;
• the readings, outlooks and reports the app generates for you, and any journal entries;
• reminder and notification settings, and the in-app notification inbox;
• your analytics and privacy preferences, and unsent support drafts.

Voice readings are spoken by your device's built-in text-to-speech; the text is not sent to us. Reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device; we do not operate a push-notification service and do not collect push tokens.

4. Information stored with our backend

Destiny AI uses Supabase to provide accounts and to store account data. When you create an account and use the app while signed in, the following is stored there:

• Account information — your email address and password. Your password is handled by Supabase's authentication service; we never see or store it in readable form.
• Profile and settings — first name, last name and display name; country, language and time zone; app preferences such as units, appearance, accessibility and notification settings; your marketing-communications choice; your subscription status; and account timestamps such as last sign-in.
• Legal consent records — which version of these documents you accepted, when, and in which language, country, app version and platform.
• Requests you make — data-export, account-deletion and privacy requests you submit in the app, including any details and contact email you provide.
• Support messages and feedback — the subject, category and message you send, an optional contact email, and your app version, platform, language and country.
• Security records — records of account events such as sign-in or a change to your consent choices, with a random identifier and your app version, used to keep accounts secure and to troubleshoot problems.

Cloud sync is optional and off by default. If you turn it on, the app also stores your saved readings library (titles, summaries and notes), your saved locations (the place name, country and coordinates of places you save, and any notes), and your daily reading history (dates, time zone, numerology numbers, moon sign and transit summaries), so they can be restored on another device. Your birth date, birth time, birthplace and palm photos are not included in sync.

A small number of authorised Midnight Holdings LLC staff can access account records, support messages, privacy requests and security records when needed to provide support, respond to your requests, or keep the service secure.

5. Location

Location access is optional. Destiny AI asks for it only when you tap a button to use your current location — during setup, or to recenter the map on where you are.

• During setup, your coordinates are rounded to about one kilometre and stored only in your birth profile on your device.
• When you recenter the map, your location is used on screen and is not saved.
• Place search uses a city list built into the app, so the place names you search for are not sent to a lookup service.

The map itself is drawn from map images supplied by a mapping provider (see Service providers), so that provider receives the area of the map being displayed — which can include the area around you after you recenter.

6. Subscriptions and payments

Destiny AI Premium subscriptions are sold and billed by Apple through the App Store. Apple processes your payment; we never receive your payment card or billing details.

We use RevenueCat to confirm whether your subscription is active. When you sign in, the app gives RevenueCat your account's internal identifier (not your email address or name). RevenueCat receives purchase and subscription information from Apple and from the app, such as the product you bought, purchase and renewal dates, and your device's App Store transaction details.

7. Service providers that receive data

We share information only with service providers that process it on our behalf to run the app, or that you interact with directly:

• Supabase — account sign-in, the database that stores the information in section 4, and account deletion. Supabase privacy policy.
• RevenueCat — subscription status, as described in section 6. RevenueCat privacy policy.
• Apple — App Store purchases, subscriptions, refunds and app delivery. Apple privacy policy.
• CARTO — map images for the map screen, with map data from OpenStreetMap contributors. It receives your device's IP address and the map area shown. CARTO privacy notice.
• unpkg — a public code-delivery network the map screen uses to load its open-source map library. It receives your device's IP address and ordinary request information.
• Expo — delivers app updates. When the app checks for an update, Expo receives technical information such as the app version, platform and your device's IP address. Expo privacy policy.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to respond to a lawful request, or to protect the rights and safety of our users or others, and to a successor if our business or the app is transferred.

8. What we do not do

• We do not sell or share your personal information for advertising, and we do not use it for targeted advertising.
• Destiny AI shows no ads and contains no advertising SDKs.
• Destiny AI contains no third-party analytics, tracking or crash-reporting SDKs, and does not track you across other companies' apps or websites.
• Your readings are not produced by an AI service, and your information is not sent to one.
• Palm photos are not used for identification or biometric authentication.

Destiny AI does not currently show affiliate or sponsored links. If we add them, they will be clearly labelled, and opening one takes you to a third party whose own privacy policy applies.

9. How we use information

• to create and secure your account, including email verification and password reset;
• to sync your saved items between devices, if you turn sync on;
• to confirm and restore your subscription;
• to answer support requests and feedback, and to handle privacy, export and deletion requests;
• to record which legal documents you accepted;
• to keep the service secure, prevent abuse, and fix problems;
• to comply with legal obligations.

Where privacy law requires a legal basis, we rely on performing our agreement with you (providing the app and your account), our legitimate interests in running a secure and reliable service, your consent where we ask for it, and compliance with legal obligations.

10. Your choices

• Cloud sync is off unless you turn it on, and you can delete your synced data at any time from Settings → Privacy.
• Location, palm photos and notifications are optional, and you can change the related permissions in your device settings.
• Marketing communications are opt-in and can be changed in the app's privacy controls.

11. Deleting your account and data

You can delete your account in the app from Settings → Delete account. After you confirm with your password, the app deletes your account and the information stored with it in our backend, then removes your Destiny AI data from the device, including your birth profile, saved items and palm photos.

Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store subscription. Cancel it in your Apple ID account settings to stop future charges. Apple and RevenueCat keep their own purchase records; to ask us to delete the RevenueCat record linked to your account, email midnightsupport247@gmail.com.

You can also delete only your cloud-synced data from Settings → Privacy, and remove any palm photo from your profile at any time.

12. Your privacy rights and requests

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information we hold about you, to object to or restrict certain uses, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights.

In the app, Download my data creates a copy of the Destiny AI data on your device, and the Privacy Center lets you send us a privacy request. You can also email midnightsupport247@gmail.com. We will respond within the time required by applicable law, and we may ask you to confirm the request comes from the account holder.

13. How long we keep information

We keep account information for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, we delete the account and the information stored with it as described in section 11. Copies may remain for a limited time in our backend provider's routine backups until those backups are replaced. Information on your device stays there until you delete it, delete your account, or remove the app.

14. Security

Information sent between the app and our backend is encrypted in transit, and our database is configured so that each account can read only its own records. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please use a strong password that you do not use elsewhere.

15. Children

Destiny AI is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, email midnightsupport247@gmail.com and we will delete it.

16. International users

Midnight Holdings LLC is based in the United States, and our service providers operate in the United States and other countries. If you use Destiny AI from outside the United States, your information will be processed in countries whose data protection rules may differ from those where you live.

17. Changes to this policy

If we change how Destiny AI handles information, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date before the change takes effect. For material changes, the app will also ask you to review and accept the updated policy.
