1. How we source listings
We collect listings only from sources we have configured deliberately: official employer or government job APIs, public applicant-tracking feeds, licensed job-data providers, and direct submissions. Each stored listing records which source it came from and that source's own identifier for it. At the time of writing, the configured live source is the public job API of the United States federal government, restricted to remote roles open to the general public.
2. Requesting removal of a listing or company profile
An employer, a source, or a person named in a listing may ask us to remove it. Write to legal@midnightapps.dev with the listing link or title, the employer name, and the reason — for example that the role is closed, that the listing was posted without authority, that it contains personal data, or that it infringes a right. Tell us if you are acting on behalf of the employer. We will act on a valid request; a target response time is to be set before publication rather than promised here.
3. Removal in practice
When a listing is removed it stops appearing anywhere in the app. The underlying record is retained in a removed state rather than erased, so that the same listing is not re-imported on the next pass from the source and so that we keep an audit trail of what we published and when. If your request is that personal data be erased rather than that a listing be taken down, say so, and we will handle it as a data-rights request under the Privacy Policy.
4. Listings that close by themselves
We also retire listings automatically. When a complete pass of a source no longer lists something we hold, we mark it removed and it leaves the app without anyone having to ask.
5. Blocking a source
A source or employer that does not want its listings collected at all can tell us at legal@midnightapps.dev, and we will stop importing from it and remove what we hold from the app.

Complaints that a listing infringes copyright or a trademark are handled under the Copyright and Trademark Notice.
