1. Employers are independent third parties
Every employer, agency and source shown in RemoteJobs is an independent third party. We do not employ the people who post the roles, we are not party to any hiring process, and we have no control over an employer's recruitment practices, hiring decisions, terms of employment, or treatment of applicants.
2. No endorsement and no vetting of the employer
A listing appearing in RemoteJobs means it passed our publication review and scam screening. It does not mean we have vetted the employer's business, verified its financial standing or legal status, checked its licences, or endorsed it. Where a listing comes from an agency or an aggregating source rather than the employer directly, the role may be advertised on behalf of an unnamed client.
3. When you leave the app
Application links, employer websites and applicant-tracking systems are outside RemoteJobs. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, availability, security or data practices. Anything you submit on a third-party site — your name, contact details, résumé, work history, identity documents or bank details — is collected by that third party under its own privacy policy, not ours.
4. Your responsibility before you share information
Confirm independently that an employer is genuine before sharing personal information or accepting an offer: find the employer's official domain yourself rather than relying on a link, check that the role appears on their own careers page, and be cautious where an application asks for identity documents, bank details or payment early in the process. A legitimate employer will not ask you to pay a fee, buy equipment through them, process payments, or move to a personal messaging app for interviews. 5. Limits of our responsibility
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for the acts or omissions of any employer, agency, source or other third party, including inaccurate listings, unsuccessful applications, withdrawn offers, or loss arising from information you chose to share with them. This does not affect liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, or your statutory consumer rights.
